As of today, Railo 3.1 is now available at CFMLdeveloper.com. If you already have an account then simply login to HELM and go to Packages -> add new and choose one of the new Railo Plans. Please note that the SETUP fee still applies for all new packages, but is still a one-time fee for fraud validation purposes and your hosting is then FREE forever. For more info please refer to the HELP pages.

If you do not yet have an account then simply SIGNUP from the hosting page.

Please don't forget to check the Hosting support pages if you get stuck, most common questions can be found there.

Hosting Reviews Exposed

If you are looking for a new host or actually use any of host review sites to help you find one then I would recommend checking the above site first. If you are looking for ColdFusion hosting then the only legitimate review site I am aware of is www.forta.com, I have been referring customers here for years to leave reviews as you can see HERE if you are interested to see how our host  BlueThunder fare in the grand scale of things.

He now seems to be on a bit of crusade and is personally reviewing many of the dodgy hosts that are falsely promoted by the even dodgier host review sites like the now infamous webhostingstuff.com but I certainly wish him good luck as it is obviously better for us legitimate hosts the more people who know the truth.

Increased resources on Plus hosting plan

Default , ColdFusion No Comments »

I have now increased the resources available on Plus Hosting plan to allow developers to work on more sites at the same time.

Disk space: 500mb
Bandwidth: 10000MB
Site/Domains: 10
Databases: 10

Other limits such as virtual directories, secured folders, ftp etc have also been increased, for more information please see the hosting page.
These new quotas are available to exisitng users as well as new users.

RDS access is now also available, but requires a custom sandbox to be setup for your site. If you would like RDS access then please open a support ticket with your account userID and domain name.

Upgrading from your FREE plan is easy, just login to HELM, go to Packages and click add new, choose the Plus plan, enter a name and click save. Now just go to your billing menu and pay for it.
