CFMLDeveloper.com provides web space for developers to learn, develop and host CFML (aka ColdFusion) applications without the hassle of having to deal with the server side of things. Please read the ABOUT page for more details of how and why.

PLEASE NOTE:  Because this service is intended for development we have full debugging enabled, RDS and other settings which is of course not suitable for a live production environment for security and performance reasons. We also have much looser security to allow easier development, so storage of private, personal or customer data would not be recommended. If you do use use cfmldeveloper.com for anything other than development then you do so at your own risk.

As you know you can download a trial copy of ColdFusion, Railo or BlueDragon and use this locally, but most developers don't know much about setting up a web server, and really don't want the hassle of doing this. You just want to write some CFML code, upload it somewhere and have it work, right! This is where cfmldeveloper.com come sin handy.

There are currently 2 hosting plans available. The "FREE" plan is for those who are just dabbling/learning or only working on 1 or 2 projects at a time and don't need much space. The "Plus" plan is for pro developers who work on multiple projects  and want more resources. Below is a comparison chart.
Please note that you "ARE NOT" being charged for use of ColdFusion, the fees for the plus plan are simply for the extra resources that need to be provided and managed and support the plan provides, all income from the plus plan goes toward the costs of the servers, services, ColdFusion and continuing to provide this service to the community.

Although the FREE plans have no ongoing charges, there is a "tiny" £1 setup fee. This fee is simply an "anti fraud" measure to stop people abusing this service for illegal and fraudulent purposes and ruining it for the legitimate users. It solves this problem as it requires you to use a legitimate credit/debit card or paypal account, something a criminal/hacker will generally not do. Prior to this £1 setup fee scammers would regulalry signup to cfmldeveloper and use it for sending spam or running phishing sites.

Remember just because the service is FREE it is still a legitimate service so you are required to register with your real details. I f you register with fake details, your account will be deleted.
